Event Information: Analytics Engines, in partnership with Microsoft, welcome organisations to attend a Breakfast Briefing at the brand-new Microsoft offices in Belfast. 

Guests will hear about the latest AI technologies, best practices and use cases for AI, using real world examples from Analytics Engines and Microsoft. Our expert panel will delve deeper into what the future holds for AI in the workplace and society as a whole.

Chief technology officer

Alastair is the Chief Technology Officer at Analytics Engines where he is responsible for technology strategy, solution architecture and innovation. Alastair gained his PhD from QUB in 2009 focusing on high-performance computing and algorithms used in telecommunications. He is interested in data modelling and data engineering in PostgreSQL and Python, Cloud Native solution architecture and NLP applications.

Senior Cloud Solution Architect - Data & AI | Customer Success

Roy is a Principal Cloud Solution Architect in Microsoft with 20+ years experience.  In his current role he assists Microsoft’s enterprise customers with Azure Data & AI solutions.  Roy sits on a number of technical advisory boards, is a content contributor for Microsoft’s public worldwide Learning platform, lectures in Postgraduate Data courses at TU Dublin and Griffith college and is a mentor on the First Friday programme for Irish startups.

She completed a Master of Arts degree in Arts Management from Queen's University Belfast in 2015-2016, equipping her with a deep understanding of the creative and managerial aspects of the industry.

Stacy's educational background is rooted in excellence. She pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Queen's University Belfast, completing her studies from 2002 to 2007.
